Early response Training (the UMCOR Basic ERT course) is scheduled to take place from 8:30am – 5pm on May 19, 2012 at Carter Memorial UMC, 800 Highland Av., Needham, MA 02494. There is a $25.00 registration fee to cover the cost of Basic ERT manual, ERT T-shirt, morning refreshments, and lunch. The Rev. This is a one day event to raise monies for Parkinsons' research, sponsored by the Vermont Chapter of the American Parkinsons Disease Association. I will be doing a 5k walk in Stowe ,Vermont on this day while pushing my wife Rachel who is a Parkinsons' sufferer and seek friends and colleagues support. Learn the basics of effective retreat leadership with Susan MacKenzie, Ph.D., experienced retreat leader and spiritual director.
Sessions will include presentations, individual reflection, small group sharing, and creative experiences. Handouts will be available. Over the course of the training, each participant will design a retreat framework based on his or her own spiritual interests.
