A Day of Prayer and Action for Immigration Reform
Recently Massachusetts senate has passed a bill that contains the anti-immigration sentiment keeping the children of the undocumented immigration from receiving in-state tuition and denying the limited and basic healthcare to the undocumented immigrants. This legislation is a copy of Arizona Law, SB 1070, which will go in effect August 1st.
We will come and stand in opposition to both Arizona and Massachusetts laws and urge our leaders to address the issue of immigration with compassion. We will join the student immigrant movement that has been holding an indefinite vigil since June 7th in front of the state house. All are invited to join in this Day of Prayer and Action.
