I believe the Spirit is calling me to "go away to a quiet place" and take a time of renewal this summer. I will begin my "time away" going on a silent directed retreat for a week listening for God's guidance. I've been serving as your district superintendent for four years, and while I still feel very called to this ministry - I'm aware a time of rest, discernment and renewal to focus on taking care of myself in body, mind and spirit....and to spend more time with my family would be a rich blessing. Joe will be joining me on vacation for the first two weeks of August. I appreciate your prayers for the district and my family during this holy time of renewal. Rev. Martin McLee (Metro-Boston Hope District DS) will be covering for the first part of my leave and Rev. Pat MacHugh (Northern Maine DS) for the second half. District Office Summer Hours:

Starting July 2nd the office will be open Monday - Thursday 8:30AM to 2PM for the summer and CLOSED on Friday. With the exception of Monday, July 5th the office will also be closed in observant of 4th July holiday.
