The Vermont District has many gifted lay and clergy members who have experience in leading a variety of programs from spiritual retreats and days apart to educational seminars. If you have a group that is looking for a program--specific or vague--please contact the District Office and we can help you identify a topic and leadership.
Retreat in a Box - Taste and See: Would you like to lead your own day apart? The District Office has a complete retreat provided by the New England Spiritual Formation Initiative and written by Rev. Larry Peacock. The script and some worship center materials are all boxed up and ready for use! The format is arranged for a time frame of 9:30 am - 3:30 pm.
Fresh Air: Breathe New Life into Your Congregation: The New England Conference Spiritual Formation Initiative is pleased to offer a series of three-hour programs, called Fresh Air, which can be held in local churches to promote spiritual formation. A trained retreat leader will come to your church at a time convenient for you. Each module has an experiential component to help deepen spiritual practices.
The two of these modules are available now: Deepening the Congregation's Prayer Life. Experience and learn about Breath Prayer, Daily Prayer, Prayer Groups, and more. A second module, The Spirituality of Children, offers ways for families to grow together in their spiritual life.
Please contact the Office at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 802-878-1245 for more information about the Retreat in a Box or the Fresh Air modules.
