Wisconsin Conference UMC Seeks Director of Congregational Development
Sun Prairie, WI, September 9, 2016 – The Wisconsin Annual Conference is seeking a new Director of Congregational Development. This position plays a crucial role in identifying and helping to develop new ministries across the Annual Conference.
We have started down a road to identify, recruit, and train clergy and lay people who have a passion for reaching new people and diverse people in new places. We are looking for a candidate who can help us take the next steps in developing a system that helps us grow new faith communities.
The ideal candidate is a person with a demonstrated capacity for congregational growth and development, and who has experience in new faith starts. We are looking for a person who has passion to share faith in Christ. We are looking for a person who knows how to be a team player. We are looking for a person who can help develop people. We are looking for a person who can help develop systems of support (through coaching and other systems related to new faith development). We are looking for a person of integrity and energy who is supportive of The United Methodist Church.
